If you are visiting the UK and Europe for an extended period, a motorhome is the ideal way to combine your transport and accommodation. Here at Scarper we understand the needs of customers who wish to tour the UK and the Continent and we appreciate that for many of you this may be a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
We are located near Preston, Lancashire, which is very close to the geographical centre of the UK. Our nearest major airport is Manchester, which has dozens of direct flights to and from the whole world.

Secondly, whether you hire a motorhome from us or not, we can advise you on the best vehicle to meet your needs.
For couples, it can be tempting to assume that a 2 berth motorhome or campervan would be ideal, yet many such vehicles do not have a fixed bed, meaning that you will have to make up the bed each night. That may be fine for a week or so, but if you are planning an extended tour, you should really go for a four berth motorhome.
If you are bringing the family, ensure that the layout of your motorhome is ideal for your circumstances. You should note that in terms of physical size, most motorhomes vary only in length, with the width and height being the same regardless of the number of berths.
We would like to point out that if you do not hold a driving licence issued in the EU, you cannot drive any vehicle exceeding 3500kg.

Next, we can arrange delivery to and collection from your point of arrival and departure.
If you wish, we can arrange to set up the motorhome at your first campsite and arrange a transfer by car. You may not wish to drive a strange vehicle in a strange country straight off the plane!
